Jan's Art Showing...

On Saturday, Jan had a showing of her art at the Blue Nutria in Clatskanie, Oregon. She was one of about 10 (mostly local) artists present. She had her art backed with black and it just made them pop. Each piece is a little treasure in itself. April and Karen visited her first...earlier in the day. Kit and I came about 3:30 after Jessi and Matt had taken me for a mother's day lunch. Jan's display was perfect! She is even inviting one of the artists to visit us on Tuesday. We will be looking forward to that. She is the same artist that created the beautiful needle felted scarf and cuffs that Jan wears. Jan was able to sell one of Lyla's altered books, so that will put a smile on Lyla's face for sure.

Jan made the neatest business cards to have at the showing. It had all her info on one side and a little piece of art on the other...so unique.

The one piece of art I took a pic of is so bright and beautiful. I love it! If you double click on the pic of Jan, you can see the other pieces she brought to sell. She also brought a wall quilt with her. It was a wonderful display.

  1. Jan did a great job putting together her display board. I love the things she has on it and her business cards are such a terrific idea. I wish I could have made it to the show and seen this in person. Thanks for sharing this. Hugs to all
