Today we gathered at April's but it was only 3 of us.  April, Karen and Jan still managed to have a good time, even though Pinky and Mary were missing.  And Lyla too was not in attendance.  April and Jan worked on their crocheted rag rugs and Karen made cards.  She is gathering her give away items, I will post them later in the week.  No cameras recorded today's activities, that is why I put up the old photo.

We seem to be getting less people signing up for each give away.  Why is that?  These are all great gifts with no strings attached, you don't have to do anything but leave a comment.  Well, the less comments means the better the chance of winning for those who have left a comment and this weeks winner is................

In the mean time, all of us at S&B seem to be scattered about for spring break and did not get together this week.  So no new photos to share.  I will share this one of Pinky, the Bird Whisperer.

Winner of third give away and fun at Jan's

Two weeks in a row we were able to get together!  That has been rare this winter in spite of our efforts and desires.  We met at Jan's and our first order of business was to choose a winner of our third give away.  It was April's turn to choose a number, she chose 7 and that made Nita our winner!!  Congratulations Nita, April intends to deliver the altered cigar box and goodies in person to you.  Nita is our second local winner.  Our first winner, Anja, lives clear over in Germany, so these last two winners will be easier to deliver.

April took over Jan's camera and snapped this shot of Jan and Mary.  We had all ordered more of Lyla's books after seeing the one she contributed to our first give away.  They arrived in time for us to pick out our favorites. 

As you can see, Pinky is very pleased with her choice!  Just try and take it away from her!  On second thought, you better not.

Second Give Away Winner!

We were excited to choose the winner of our second give away donated by Pinky.  Today at our group meeting, we asked Pinky to choose a number between one and 20 and she chose 16 making the winner Nonerightnow , AKA Linda!  Congratulations Linda!  April will be contacting you to find out your address so we can send you your gifts.

This was the first time we have been able to get together for 3 weeks due to weather conditions.  We met at Pinky's and shared some hilarity and some delicious lunch, prepared by Pinky.  Mary took photos, she will probably share them later.  She also gave me a big bag of more give away gifts.  I will photograph them and post towards the end of the week about it so stay tuned.  Don't forget to sign up for April's give away of the altered cigar box full of goodies.  Go do it now or I will have to sic Charlie cat on you. 

As you can see, he is the terror of the town.
