Welcome Marlene and Maddie!





We were at Mary's for Tuesday this week and had a wonderful surprise...Marlene Hawkins, a regular on our blog, came to visit us. I have known Marlene for awhile and Pinky has met her also. The others in our group met Marlene for the first time Tues.

Mary had a little...not exactly a challenge and definitely not a lesson...crafting time making an ornament from a star fish that comes from the Phillipines, wire, and beads. As you can see by the group pic (scroll down to next post to see), they are all very different from one another. They just all turned out great!!!

Marlene brought us all, including Joan, a beautiful ATC. What a neat surprise! I enclosed a pic of those also...so fun!

    It was so much fun being at an actual meeting I hope to get to come again. You are all such characters and so full of fun. Maddy and I both had a wonderful time. The stars were fun to work on once I got the hang of it and will probably make more for a small tree this Christmas. I did receive your emails and will answer when I get home. I think we are going home tomorrow.

    It was great to finally get to meet Marlene! Thanks for making the effort to come, Marlene, and thanks for the wonderful ATC, I love it, really fits my style. It was fun to meet your sister too. I hope you two are enjoying your stay at the beach.

    Mary...you ARE a dear, but if you don't share that camera...and get yourself up here on this blog...well, heads are gonna roll, young lady. It's not fair that you won't share yourself with all your blog followers! Just not fair at all. Okay, I'm putting my soapbox away now. Teehee!!!
