Jan's Tri shutter cards

They aren't quite finished but I thought I'd post them anyway, in case I ruin them from here;-)  I intend to embellish them with the gel pens, maybe some ribbon or something.  Fun to make, lots of possibilities with them.  I'll bet the rest of you could really go to town with these.

I just added this photo later of the card closed.  It measures 4"X5".   You can see I also added a light piece of paper over the dark area in the middle, that wasn't there in the above photo.  The black parts on the paper are fuzzy.  That is some of the paper I won from Tristan's giveaway.

  2. Jan, these are beautiful! I just love how you've used these different decorative papers to such a great advantage. I LOVE the leaves on the top card (because you know my personal involvement with leaves), but if I had to choose a favorite I think I'd have to go with the second card. I like the larger black and white element, and the smaller b&w filigree compared, again, with the medium avocado filigree image. Very nice. Hey what about a workshop? Maybe??? Pretty please?

  3. My Mom's 80th is coming up next month. I think I'm going to make her a Tri Shutter card. But I'll need a workshop, probably. Hmmmm, I wonder where I can get one of those? Hmmmm?

  4. Got to see Jan's TriShutter cards in person, today, and they are even more wonderful in real life. We were 'warming up' for our get-together with the other girls, tomorrow. We made some regular cards. It was fun to hang out for a few hours. Thanks for having me, Jan. See you tomorrow for our Christmas celebration at Mary's. (Oh, this is gonna be fun!)
