This blog will follow a group of 6 women who have been meeting and creating since the year 2000. We started out only creating with fabric...doing art wall hangings and quilts, clothing, and more. We have now expanded into creating with fabric, doing ATCs, making cards, hand dying fabric, etc. You name it, we are willing to try it. Come along with us on our adventure!

FAITHFUL FRIEND MOLLY 1999-2010
Yesterday was a sad day for us (Kit and I) as our faithful friend, Molly, was laid to rest. We believe she may have had a little stroke that affected her walking, getting up, and getting back down. Life was getting way too hard for her. I still keep looking for her and expect to see that wagging tail and the way she looked like she was smiling at us. She will surely be missed. She was such a faithful and loving friend. In this pic of her and Jess...she was a very young Molly.

Mary and Kit, I am so sorry to hear this news. Steve always says that the only grief your dog ever gives you is when they pass away. Big hugs to you both.
ReplyDeleteDoggone it, poor Miss Molly. I hope she is romping happily in a big field at the edge of the forest now, waiting for you, all her pain gone. Poor Mary and Kit too, you will miss her so bad. Even I miss her. I was missing poor ZZ when I went to April's to take care of her place this week. So many sad losses. You all take care.

Thank you for your nice notes...we have had a hard few days now and appreciate your words. Love, M
ReplyDeleteOh, Mary & Kit, I am so sorry to hear about Mollie. You know how I feel about dogs, but Mollie was the exception to the rule. She was soooo sweet. I can only imagine how much you will miss her. We sure get attached to our sweet pets, don't we?

ReplyDeleteMiss Molly was my very favorite dog. She was so very sweet and gentle. Mary would buy her toys and she would have them forever because she was so gentle with them. She smiled when she saw you and had a frown when you left. Cliff & I loved her very much.
