We Have Fun....Don't We????

Just a couple of pics I couldn't fit on the last post from Red Tuesday at Mary's...

Jan made another flag book and brought it for us to see...so neat!

We are munching down on the chicken soup.

Red Tuesday At Mary's Place...

Mary says: Each week is so fun and this week we all kind of did our own thing and just visited and worked the time away. I made a pot of chicken soup and we each had some of that for lunch. The pictures I am showing are of Karen, Pinky, April, Jan, and myself. Joan wasn't able to be with us this week, but will see her at Jan's next week for sure. I heard rumors of a birthday coming up...

Jan has been working on her hand piece and adding embellishments as she goes. Can't wait to see how she will end up using this piece. Pinky worked on envelopes. Karen and April worked on cards and Karen did an ATC. I worked on some ATCs. I think I am hooked on those little pieces of art...so fun to do. Jan brought us all a couple pieces of rice paper. The texture is so neat. I am anxious to try painting on it, or maybe sewing on it...hmmmm....

Remember Girlies...THE CHALLENGE IS DUE MAY 4.....

A little late on Red Tuesday...sorry...

Mary said: Here it is, Saturday evening, and I still haven't posted pics from Red Tuesday at my house! Sorry girls! I've been pricing all the stuff in the garage for the garage sale here next weekend.

Kit and I went garage saling this morning and I bought a totem pole! Actually...two, but the one is really fading fast, so we put him on his side like the ones in Canada that are going back to the earth. I'm enclosing a pic of the better one. These people were moving and wanted to sell them cheap....wheeeeeeee!

April's Birthday

Jan writes: You can see how thrilled April is to get yet another wonderful Sock Monkey! Notice Mary, the one who gave her this gift, giggling in the background. Also notice the sock monkey gift wrap. April once made the mistake of telling us that she hates sock monkeys. This her reward for that confession. Now she gets sock monkey cards, sock monkey fabric, sock monkey everything. Good thing she is such a good sport. Good thing she loves us as much as we love her!!

Pinky Had To Keep This One!

Karen's ATCs...

Mary's ATCs

Jan's ATCs

Look Below For April's Birthday Pics...scroll down...

PINKY'S ATCs

Mary said: Jan, Pinky, April, Karen, and I are doing an ATC exchange where we each send 5 ATCs away and receive 5. We are all really excited about this and all of us have our's done and ready to mail. We will be doing that next week. We brought the ATCs to get a little criticism from each other and came to the same conclusion about all of them...They are GREAT!!! It was hard for all of us to choose which ones to send. I am attaching the pics of the groups we were picking from.

As you can see above...I wanted April's birthday pics to be first and goofed it up again...sheesh!

Blue Tuesday At Karen's...

It is always fun to go to Karen's. Her house is decorated all Western and so many fun things to see. Thank you, Karen, for all the goodies to munch and the good company.

Blue Tuesday was April's birthday and I have enclosed some pics of that special time.

We all did a lot of yacking and concentrated on the birthday girl...so fun! April didn't want to go back to work...she wanted to go through her birthday stash.

Last week when I made my flag book, I wasn't happy with the binding part and was planning on taking it apart. When we all talked it over, I decided just to put the pages in and finish it. The next one I make I plan to take more time on the binding.

Last Few Pics of Flag Book Making...

I wanted to show you here, the cute little dog Jan painted. Isn't it fun? I love all the bright colors.

Mary said: In order to see all the pics of flag book making, scroll down the next few posts as I could only put 5 pics in each post. Keep going down...:>))

More Picture of Flag Book Making....

Mary said: I couldn't get all the pics on one post, so here we go...

PURPLE TUESDAY... :>))

Mary said: Tuesday was renamed Purple Tuesday when it is at April's. That is a very FAVORITE color of hers, so very appropriate. Jan was good enough to guide us through making a Flag Book. It is a neat little book (if you scroll down to the older post, you will see Jan's finished one) that you can put ATCs in, pictures, photos, collections of small things, etc...very coooool. In the pictures you will see the steps we took to work on them. Interesting how several people can work on the same project and they all have different personalities in their work. I love that! I could only put on 5 pics here, so continuing above..
