Jan, if you can turn this around, would you? Next week...tell me how you did it, OK? :>))
This blog will follow a group of 6 women who have been meeting and creating since the year 2000. We started out only creating with fabric...doing art wall hangings and quilts, clothing, and more. We have now expanded into creating with fabric, doing ATCs, making cards, hand dying fabric, etc. You name it, we are willing to try it. Come along with us on our adventure!

Jan's Key Challenge...
None of us were surprised to see Jan's wonderful project with keys. She made a piece of hanging art. She use a piece of her rust dyed fabric and also did some tea dying to make her gingham fabric look old. She used pounded bottle caps for the frames of two pictures, old lace, needle felting, beading, and old time photos. It has the appearance of someone's heirloom. She said she might like to make another, but with photos of ancestors in her family. This is a fantastic piece. The hanger for it is a branch...perfect. Sorry, Jan for the upside down pic!

Tuesday....
We had a wonderful day at Karen's. Jan worked on some cat toys for Christmas that she was needle felting (see picture). Karen was working on some cards. Pinky brought some hot pads to cut out. April was knitting on her scarf for her daughter in law. I was working on Some Christmas cards. I forgot my camera, so the only pictures I have this week are those of Jan's toy (because she gave me one), and the cards I was working on. I hope to bring my camera each week and show the different things we have as projects.
Our next challenge is to make 5 postcard size collages to trade in January. I have started on mine and they are so fun!
